Paris Vintage Postmark Earrings
These sterling silver earrings were designed based on an 1904 postcard sent from Paris from a young man to his love as a reminder of their journey there together. This sentiment is expressed in French on the postcard itself! The "Petite Lake" on the picture side of the postcard was where one of the scenes of the recent movie, "Midnight In Paris" takes place. How romantic!
The postmark is created in a low-relief in fine silver which has been oxidized and finished to a high polish to accent the wonderful details. The postmarks hang from sterling hand forged ear wires and are finished with 5-6 mm hand faceted garnet briolettes. Total length of the earrings including the ear wire is approximately 2".
A copy of the original postcard the earrings are based on comes with the bracelet packaged in it's own organza pouch.

These earrings are also available with amethyst briolettes 5-6mm), triple white rice pearls (2mm), garnet briolettes (5-6mm), peridot briolettes (4-5mm) or crystal quartz briolettes (5-6mm). Simply indicate the pearl or stone desired at the time of ordering. Custom colors also available upon request.
A copy of the postcard the design was based on comes with the earrings in it's own organza pouch so the story can be shared.
